I have always worked my hardest both in school and on the ice to achieve the best opportunities I can. I have improved drastically over the past year or so as I went from being a starter for the Junior Varsity team last season to competing for the starting role for the Varsity team this coming winter. I have improved in school just as well especially with mathematics. I felt that during my freshman year my math class didn't challenge and prepare me enough for college so my sophomore year, I took two math classes to get me a level above others in my grade which it has done. I aspire to improve and get to the highest level I can compete at while also earning the best education I can for opportunities further down in life. I feel that my personality in and out of hockey, my explosiveness in my movements, and my flexibility/agility in the crease definitely separate me from other recruits. Another aspect of my playing style that makes me stand out is my ability to be coached and adapt to parts of a playing style my coach prefers such as playing the puck more which I have done this year.
