My name is Jacob Saenger. I am a multi-sport athlete playing AAA hockey and competitive soccer while maintaining a 3.6 GPA and giving back to my community. My goals and aspirations are to continue growing as a person and an elite hockey player, with my ultimate goal being to play in the NHL. I would be a great addition to your team because I give 120% on and off the ice, improving my skills as well as the performance of the team. I am a kid who likes to get pushed so that I excel on the ice and in the classroom. I always put academics in front of my sports so that I can maintain a good GPA. There are many things that makes me different than other recruits. One of them is that I like to be a leader on and off the ice. I think leadership and sportsmanship are a big key to playing hockey. I believe that after every game you should take your glove off, shake the opponents and the refs hands. Before every game I like to take time by myself to pray so that I have someone looking over me during the game and keeping me and everyone else safe on the ice. In my sports I believe in playing as a team whether we win or lose. I do not consider myself a selfish player. I continue to grow through hard-work, focus and being a good advocate for myself.
