Personal Statement
Throughout my career I’ve been delt with challenges that have tested my true identity as a hockey player like starting the sport late, leaving a familiar team to experience a higher level etc. Not only has this tested my abilities, but my willingness to overcome and beat all doubts, while increasing my body mass 60 pds over the course of three years and increasing my strength and speed, I guess I can say I love the sport enough to put everything into it. On the other hand I am a honor roll student who has maintained a 3.0 GPA while partaking in this busy sport. I am hoping to extend my career and play in college.
