I've always wanted to play hockey and I got the chance, at 14, much later than most kids. I'm now 16 and in just two years, I've worked myself into a varsity program and very soon, a high level travel program. However despite this late start, I have a lot of experience in the roller hockey aspect of the game, which i started playing in 4th-5th grade. This made my transition to the ice much easier than most who start as late as I do. I know I'm at a disadvantage than most, but I think that just makes me work harder and longer than most and that's where my pride and passion comes from. Always want to silence the doubters. If hockey doesn't work out, I'd love to be an Athletic Trainer/Fitness Specialist. I've taken a lot of strides in my fitness and well-being and I also want to bring the same to others who need it.
