Personal Statement
I have been playing hockey for 10+ years, and ever since that day I first touched the ice I knew that I wanted to play as much hockey as possible. Now that I am older, I know that I want to play at the collegiate level while getting a good education. I know that college level hockey is very hard to achieve though I am willing to put my time and effort into it.
I have recently joined the Hampton Road Whalers of the USPHL and have moved to Chesapeake, Virginia. I will be completing my high school degree online while I play my first year of Juniors. I will be graduating in May of 2020 .
I am from Jupiter, Florida and I will graduate in 2020. I am a Private in the Army Junior ROTC program at the high school. I will continue with my Honors classes and while pursuing the AICE degree. I strive to keep my GPA above a 3.5 or higher.
I am also involved with the Stand Up Foundation/Men Moving Mountains which is a not for profit organization which promotes teens making healthy habits in the community we live in. I also like to volunteer at the ice rink and help young children learn how to skate and play hockey. On my free time, I enjoy going fishing and spending time with family and friends.
I have played with numerous organizations over the years and believe that my most important attribute is that I am team player and am very coachable. I am very excited to see what my next few years in hockey have in store for me.
