Personal Statement
My Name is Jason Heard,
I take my athletics very serious and spend at least an hour in the gym everyday. Due to my determination to play college hockey, I take everyday and do my very best to better myself as a person and player. When it comes to me on the ice, i am a very tenacious forward who loves to play in the corners and battle for every puck. I play a very physical game and am not afraid to hit people, but also can score and set up plays. Along side the physical aspect I view the ice very well and often find myself where the puck is going to be.
In the classroom i genuinely enjoy school, and getting to connect with friends, meet new people, and expand my knowledge. Because pf hockey, I am forced to miss a lot of school in order to travel to tournaments. Therefore, I find it is very difficult to keep up with the rest of the other students, but I will dedicate time to study between games.
In my free time i enjoy trying other sports with my friends and going out with friends to the mall or to eat. Also, i like teaching myself hoe things work or how to make things work together such as speakers and wiring. At this time I have tough myself to link multiple speaker systems together and have lights pulse with the music, also how to take apart a broken laptops and tablets and fix them, and how to write music. Furthermore, I am currently teaching myself to code and program websites.
Overall I am viewed as a very dedicated and determined man who will stop at nothing to achieve his dreams of playing college hockey and one day in the NHL.
