Personal Statement
Hi my name is Kyle Parker from Granite City, IL. I attend Granite City High School. I am currently a sophomore with a 5.3 GPA, due to advanced classes. I am 5'8" and 150 lbs. I am currently playing with the U18 Chesterfield Central States Team coached by Lindsay Middlebrook, and the Granite City High School Varsity. My first position is a right wing and I play center as well for the club team. On the High school team I play defense but I play wing on the power plays at the high school. My Coaches and my team mates say my most skilled attributes are my vision on the ice, and my ability to make plays and create opportunities for my team, in clutch situations. I currently the point leader for my varsity team. In the upcoming 2013-2014 year I expect to have good grades and not only perform well but to contribute to my team on the ice. In the future I would like to play college hockey and study Pre-Med to hopefully one day become an Anesthesiologist. I can offer great skill and leadership to any team. I am a very valuable player on and off the ice with my straight demeanor and character. It has always been a dream of mine to play college hockey and be part of a the collegiate experience. I one day would also like to give back and teach youth hockey. I would like to play at the highest level that is realistic for me and use my academic abilities for whatever team I am fortunate enough to be a part of.
