Jacob Renbarger '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Renbarger and I will be a Junior this Fall. I am a 6'0", 190 lb. offensive right wing. I played on my high school's varsity team both my Freshman and Sophomore years and helped out playing on the JV team when needed. Our high school varsity hockey team was one of the best teams in our state and was in the highest bracket of hockey in Indiana. Being a part of and playing for my high school varsity team has played a huge role in my development both on and off the ice. I had positive role models in my coaches and upper-class teammates who instilled valuable characteristics such as accountability, commitment, teamwork, and work ethic. During my Sophomore season, I not only tripled my points, but also became a leader and one of the main voices on the bench and on the ice. 

When I am not practicing or playing with my high school team or regional team, I am working out on my own or with a personal trainer or shooting pucks and working on stick handling in my basement. I am definitely a student of the game, I love learning new things about the game itself and pushing myself to become a better hockey player.
