I started playing hockey when I was 4 years old. I have been apart of Siouxland Youth Hockey my entire life and I now play for the Sioux City Metros. From the young age of 4, I have always had a stick in my hand playing the game that has become such a prominent part of my life. I immediately had a passion for the sport and it soon became much more than a sport to me. I am currently a junior at Bishop Heelan Catholic High school in Sioux City, IA. I am an assistant captain for the Metros . I lead my team on and off the ice by bringing positive energy, as well as setting an example by staying focused and driven during practice and games. I am an all around solid hockey player that brings speed and perseverance up front making me a positive asset to any team. I exhibit logical hockey IQ on the ice through my sense of vision, and anticipation which allows me to quickly make smart plays. I am a hard working, disciplined and motivated athlete on and off the ice. These characteristics also carry over to school where I am in many honor classes and maintain exceptional grades. I am looking to continue my educational and hockey career after high school at the collegiate stage and am willing to display these characteristics at the next level.
