Devyn Tarlton '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a defenseman for the Pilot Mound Buffalos Prep Academy 17u. I played 3 year for the Des Moines Buccaneer AAA. I have a good offensive mindset and lockdown on the back end. i have played 1 year of single A and have played 3 years of AAA. I was awarded the best defenseman in the NAHL combine. I am very dedicated to hockey and work hard to get better every day.  I shoot at least 100 pucks per day. Additionally, I have off ice training 6 days a week. We work on strength and conditioning.  Currently I am dead lifting 405 pounds. squatting 315, and benching 205. I have definately increased my speed on the ice since I have been doing off ice work outs. I also attend a few camps over the off season.  I am very polite and always respectful of my peers and always welcome new people in. I think I would be a great candidate for any hockey team because I always give 100 percent effort, and am always looking to elevate my game. I'm different then other recruits because although I love hockey, and am constantly striving to improve my game,  I also work really hard in school and put education and character first.
