Braedon Dubis - V...Personal Statement
My overall goal is to make it to the highest level of hockey that I can. My skating ability is what stands out the most along with my work ethic. I am a responsible player and I make the correct decisions with and without the puck. While some offensive defensemen may not prioritize their defensive responsibilities, I make that my number one priority and only push the offense when appropriate. Defensively my penalty kill is one of my best skills and I can confidently lock down my position. I can also confidently stop 1on1's, 2on1's.
I am a very respectful and disciplined person who strives to get better in academics and athletics. I was on the honor roll for all four quarters for the 7th grade 2018-2019 school year, 8th grade 2019-2020 school year, 9th grade 2020-2021 school year, High Honors for the 10th grade 2021-2022, High Honors for the 11th grade 2022-2023, High Honors 12th grade 2023-2024 fall semester.
For 2020-2021, I played on the Northern Cyclones U14 Tier 1 team and attended Merrimack High School in Merrimack, NH.
For 2021-2022, I attended Cushing Academy prep school and played split season for the Central Mass Penguins U16 Tier 1 team and prep season for Cushing Academy.
For 2022-2023, I attended Cushing Academy prep school and played split season for the Central Mass Penguins U16 Tier 1 team and prep season for Cushing Academy.
For 2023-2024, I am attending my senior year at Cushing Academy prep school, played split season for the Central Mass Penguins U18 Tier 1 team, and prep season for Cushing Academy.
