My commitment to being the best I can be means regular workouts, two hour drives each way to the rink, plus bugging my parents for more ice time. At the age of 14, I moved to Buffalo to play for the Jr. Sabres and lived on my own. It was tough, and to be honest, it was harder than I ever thought it would be. I have learned to adapt to difficult situations, and I have learned so much about myself. I learned to budget and plan for my meals and other expenses all while completing my coursework, preparing for games, and going to practices. In my free time, I enjoy coaching younger hockey goalies and players. I also love playing pick-up hockey as a player to stretch out my goalie legs.
I am dedicated to excelling in hockey and school. I am a 2006 birth year student, however, academically I will be starting the 11th grade at Cambridge Matignon. As a student athlete I would like to complete my undergraduate degree as soon as possible, while maintaining my eligibility. Hockey is my passion, my fuel, and my future.
As a goaltender I want to be a part of a great team, be a strong leader, and play at the highest level possible.
