Personal Statement
Throughout my life, my greatest passion has been working outdoors and helping others.
As far back as I can remember, I have volunteered my time to help my neighbors with various projects. Annually, I collect donations to purchase flowers and mulch to conduct Spring and Fall clean-ups to help beautify and give back to my neighborhood. Over time, this passion led me to establish my own landscaping business, which has grown exponentially in just the past four years.
As I began to focus on my future career goals, I decided that I wanted to follow the example of many friends & family members who are public safety professionals that have influenced my life.
With that, I felt that the combination of my two passions would be to become a member of the Massachusetts Environmental Police. I was fortunate to have been able to do a ride-along with one of their Officers over the summer. That impactful experience that I had, solidified my passion to become a member of their agency. As an Environmental Police Officer, I will have the opportunity to ensure the public’s safety in addition to protecting our State’s natural resources and wildlife.
Hockey has always been a passion of mine. When the regular season ends, I typically enroll in skills sessions during the summer. I split the season playing for a local club team as well as our high school varsity team. My greatest strenghts are my size, aggressiveness and speed. I would love to have the opportunity to play college-level hockey.
