Personal Statement

As a competitive hockey player and athlete, I would like to attend a school that offers a balance of athletic and academic excellence. I would like to major in either business or entrepreneurship, as these two fields fascinate me. I believe I would be a good candidate for a collegiate hockey program due to my compete level, passion, and skill. My best attribute as a hockey player is my vision and hockey IQ. As a defenseman, I look to move the puck quickly to an open forward as part of a high pace system. I believe I am a two way defenseman, who enjoys joining the rush and contributing offensively while still emphasizing the defensive side of the puck.

I believe that my character is one of the attributes I take pride in. I'm a team player, supportive of my teammates, open and friendly in the locker room, and have always created close friendships with former and current teammates. I am mature for my age and although I play with players two years older than me, I fit right in the locker room and have created long lasting bonds.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
