I have several goals and aspirations for my collegiate career and they are all equally important to me. My first priority is to attend an academically challenging school where I am able to pursue an advanced education in Mathematics and Engineering. Throughout my elementary and high school years, mathematics has always been one of my favorite courses. Proving a mathematical theory or equation comes naturally to me and I work well in areas that are factual and provable. I was on my schools math team and I have always excelled in math. This year, I am able to take my first Engineering course and I plan on taking advanced classes in my Senior year as I am passionate about building things using electronics, mechanics, and wood. In addition, one of my goals since I was five years old, is to play hockey in college. I have been working hard towards this goal and I think I can contribute to a college team in many ways. Having been selected to many Elite teams and tournaments, I am now an Assistant Captain on my high school team. I am humbled by the honor and I take pride in the position. I do my best to lead by example such as, my work ethic both on and off the ice where I attend Crossfit classes three times per week, perform well in my honors classes, and I believe I make smart decisions both socially and as a team player.
