Personal Statement
My mission is to eliminate the stigma that small players can’t get it done. I am a quick and shifty forward with 360-degree vision. A 200-foot player that wants to take my career to new heights moving forward. I have the ability to make players around me better and will continue to get stronger, faster, and hungrier every day. I am a solid team-first guy that will do what it takes to help whatever team I play on.
I will work tirelessly toward my goal of playing college hockey and beyond. What made me love this sport was the thrill that I get when I am out on the ice. It's not an easy sport to learn, and I am always up for any challenge that is thrown at me. I love how the sport of hockey is not easy, my commitment to hard work off the ice translates to great strides on the ice so that I can enjoy the sport I love even more. I am a special hockey player and would be the best decision made by anyone who gives me a chance to follow my dream of playing in the NCAA. My vision is unmatched, with god-given speed from the first stride that most do not have. I thrive on trying to take a team that is struggling to find their way and help them improve as a leader, teammate and friend. I'm very coachable as well and will be a leader no matter the circumstance. Whether there is a teammate who is struggling or a teammate that is not pulling his own weight, I would do my best to ensure they keep their head high and come back the next day better than before.
Hockey is just a part of this journey, what is most important, is the education that I would receive in college and the relationships I will build, as well as the life lessons I will learn from working hard in hockey, school and achieving grades that would make me proud. I'm looking for a college experience that will help me to achieve success in my future.
I would give up anything, and I mean anything, to make my dream of playing college hockey a reality. I compete on the ice at a very high level and want to continue to play that way for the majority of my life.
