My name is Corey Tobolski. I was born in 2003 in Michigan but I currently live in Massachusetts. I can be described as a funny, kind, and hard working individual. I stepped on the ice at the early age of six and instantly fell in love with the game of hockey. I have always excelled in hockey being one of the top players on my team every year. I also excel in the classroom as I've maintained a 4.0 GPA while earning many achievements along the way. I would like to study architecture/design, or film making while playing hockey at the highest level possible.
I come from an athletic family which explains my love for sports. Alongside hockey, I am an excellent baseball player which I've played for a decade. Currently in hockey, I am playing for the 16U Boston Bandits. I've also played for the St. Clair Shores Saints, Mt. Clemens Wolves, and the Metro Jr. Jets. My achievements with these teams include two Silver Stick championships, multiple state appearances, and countless tournament wins. When I'm at the rink I'm focused and determined to be the hardest working player out there. My work ethic is unmatched by any other individual and I have great leadership qualities. I consider myself a play maker, an excellent defensive player and I have astounding vision on the ice as well as stunning speed. Furthermore, I am respectful and easily coachable.
My academic achievements exceed others of my age. Knowing the importance of education has caused me to become focused and a good listener. My leadership encompasses three years in student council and an NJHS participant. Through NJHS I helped out in my community including feeding the homeless and volunteering at soup kitchens. Additionally, while maintaining my high GPA I'm taking advanced courses in three out of the four core subjects. Throughout 8th, 9th, and 10th grade I made the honor roll every semester and will continue to strive in order to do the same for the rest of high school.
