Kyle Liesener '19 Recruiting Profile

My ultimate goal is to land at a Division 1 school playing hockey with hopes that the school also has good learning opportunities to direct me into a future career path.  Playing hockey has always been my passion and I am still uncertain how I can incorporate that passion with a career path.  I would be a good candidate for your school/team because I'm a very hard worker, always been one of the fastest skaters with a good pair of hands.  I am not afraid to go into the corners and battle, a strong fore checker and back checker, doing my part on the ice.  To add on, I'm a good passer and shooter as well.

Some of my strongest attributes unlike other recruits is I'm committed and loyal to always becoming better at the sport and with my education. Also I have leadership skills being a captain, encouraging teamwork and getting along with the rest of the guys.  I'm a versatile athlete, I love playing sports.  I also am a member of my high school golf team.  Academically, I am a very strong student athlete, I've always gotten A's and B's with never a single C. I continually make the honor roll and always worked for my GPA being above a 3.75. Overall I'm a very dedicated and hard working person on and off the ice.
