My name is William Pasquale, and I have been playing competitive hockey since I was 7 years old. I started off playing on my local town hockey team Salem Swampscott Blades. As my love for the sport increased I participated in various skills development camps and tournaments. One of my favorite experiences is the CanAm tournament as a Bantam. It was a great opportunity to strengthen my skills, strive to be my best, and bond with my teammates. Over the past 3 years I’ve played in the Valley League spring seasons for Twice as Strong and in the early fall seasons with the Boston Imperials through the PHL. Being a part of different teams has helped me to learn various coaching styles, develop on ice trust with my new teammates, and continue to push myself to be my personal best for my team. As a freshman- junior year at St. Mary’s Highschool in Lynn, Massachusetts, my position was first line defenseman JV. Participating in sports at such a young age has instilled in me leadership skills as well as the importance of good sportsmanship. I’m grateful for my experiences in the sport and seeking an opportunity to play at the collegiate level. Outside of the rink, I train with Reck Fitness in Beverly, Massachusetts, as I recognize the benefits I gain in regards to strength, flexibility, and endurance. Sports to me is a long run game and in order to sustain I am committed to doing whatever it takes to be “all in.” I strive to challenge myself academically and look forward to pursuing Exercise Science at Merrimack College.
