Personal Statement
Hockey is a part of who I am. I have put in countless hours to obtain the ability I have. I started playing hockey at the age of three and have never looked back. Hockey has given me many great experiences and friendships. I hope to pass that on by working with younger players and volunteering at the local rink.
I pride myself upon being a leader. I have been a varsity hockey and golf captain for the past two years. I lead by example and hold my teammates accountable. I strive to be the best player on the ice, along with making my teammates around me better.
I consider myself a goal setter, my goal academically for high school is to have a B+ or better in all of my classes. My academic goal for college is to find something that I love to study and pursue that as a career. My goals for hockey are to play 2 to 3 years of junior hockey then move to the collegiate level. As a student athlete, I would like to continue my growth and development as a player and person at the collegiate level while pursuing my degree.
