Personal Statement
I have always lived by the fact that you can beat anyone at anything by simply outworking them. I believe that hard work isn't just an important quality to have in athletics, but a very important quality to have in life. Throughout my life so far, I have worked to succeed in hockey, academics, and just my life in general. I have been told that I posses qualities that exemplifies leadership, and I am the captain of my current team. While I realize that I may never be the best player on the ice, I have been told that I see the game a certain way that allows me to make plays and help my team succeed. I love the sport of hockey, and being able to play college hockey would be a dream fulfilled, and an overall privilege, no matter who's logo is on my chest.
