Personal Statement

My goal is to play Juniors and College Hockey.  I am interested in pursuing a career in Engineering Technology as I am strong mechanically and most enjoy Math and Science but like to be hands on with problem solving anything mechanical.  I wouldn't mind playing in Canada as I spend  my summers there in Ontario, enjoy fishing and the outdoors and I feel like its a second home to me. I am tough, hard-working, independent and resilient. I get along well with anyone and I'm usually the goalies favorite D-man to have in front of the net or the person they would want to have around if they were ever lost in the woods.  My goal is to graduate from Detroit Catholic Central with a strong GPA and create opportunities for myself in Jrs. and college.  Catholic Central has won 17 state hockey championships and is very strong academically - national quiz bowl champs and ACT says we have a "challenging" core curriculum. I am very proud to be part of the school and the hockey program at Detroit Catholic Central.
