Personal Statement
My name is Drew Warnecke. I have been playing hockey for about ten years now and I would like to continue to play in college whether it is here in Michigan, or elsewhere, as long as I can play. I am extremely dedicated to the game of hockey and work my heart out every practice, game, and workout to get better and improve on my skills. I have had the privilege of being coached and trained under ex-pro's, division 1 athlete's and high level junior coaches. I have been told countless times that coaches do not know what position they want me to play because I can play both offense and defense at a high level and be a play maker. I bring a very good locker room presence to the team and can be a leader and set a good example for others to follow. My ultimate goal is to win and help my team be the best we can be.
