Walker Smith '18 Recruiting Profile

I first started playing the game when I was two years old. I mainly got into the game from my aunt, who was the head coach for the golden gophers women's team. I like to spend time with the younger teams in our city.  I will give everything I have to contribute to my team to make them better, and for my personal gains. I love to move the puck, and can find a breakout pass someway or another. I like to skate up and get the redline if I have no break out pass options. I am going on my third year as a varsity starter, and am playing in the USPHL before and after senior year. I Am a zamboni driver and live at the rink. I love to help coach then young kids, and do activities at their schools. I have been playing with the Mn Magicians tier 1 u18 team this summer and fall. I am in the weight room Monday - Friday with my team. On Sat and Sun I got to our local gym.  I would say that I have great vision with good hockey sense. I will do what ever it takes to play at the highest level I can.
