Personal Statement

Driven, Dedicated, Resilient, Unshakeable, Smart, Team Player, Honor Student, Enrolled at Saint Thomas Academy, MN: One of the best hockey and academic high schools in MN.    I very much enjoy volunteering at non-profits such as Meals on Wheels and Bridging (furnishing homes with hope).  I also help out younger hockey goalies by coaching the mite, peewee and bantam levels at my training center, MapSouth,  as I feel I have a lot to offer these young aspiring new goalies.  In the summer when I'm not training, coaching or volunteering,  I am on the water with friends teaching them Wake Surfing and Wake Boarding while enjoying the outdoors.  My favorite classes in school are Tech or Math related with French, Military Drills and Economics a close second.  My school, Saint Thomas Academy, is a military school with high academic standards giving me the added discipline, character and resiliency needed as an elite hockey goalie.

He has above average feet and moves well laterally. He competed hard the whole weekend and faced over 240 shots with little help from his team at times. He made multiple backdoor saves that he had no business stopping. Only knock on him this weekend was some poor decision making when playing the puck. Impressive weekend and should have a solid junior and NCAA career ahead of him. Grade: A-
