Personal Statement
My dream has always been to play hockey at a college level and I’m determined to make that happen. I fell in love with this game when I was three years old watching the Minnesota state high school hockey tournament at the Xcel Energy Center, I have gone to every state high school tournament since then. I started playing hockey when I was four. I started playing goalie full time when I was eight. I am always trying to improve my game no matter how hard it will be or how long it will take. I will strive to be the best at everything on and off the ice, for example on the ice I will give it my all every time I step on the ice and compete on every drill like it's a game. As for off the ice my dad has taught me a valuable lesson, that lesson is that if something isn't done to the best of your ability the first time you better get up and go do it again. that lesson has also taught me to be proud of your work no matter what because you put all of your efforts into. If it's not enough to get the job done I will ask questions and keep trying until the job is done correctly.
