Personal Statement
I am an aggressive and powerful hybrid goalie. I am very quick, agile and athletic while my lateral movement is explosive. I consider this to be my strength in net. I have been described by my goalie coaches as “extremely strong and powerful”. I do not hesitate to send a message to opposing players that "I control the crease". I am a leader both on and off the ice and am extremely vocal while in net. I pride myself on my dedication, hard work and integrity. Furthermore, I am extremely coachable and willing to try different styles and techniques which my coaches can attest to.
My goal is to play hockey at the highest level that I can achieve, including collegiately and ultimately, I would like to pursue a career in Homeland Security or as Strength & Conditioning and/or Goalie coach with a collegiate or professional athletic program. I completed 15 online units of Gen Ed at Middle Tennessee State University and 3 units at Columbia State College.
I am currently playing for the New England Wolves; This is my third year of juniors; USPHL Premier, EOJHL, EHLP. I played my freshman and sophomore seasons in Minnesota High School varsity. During my sophomore season I was drafted by the Northern Cyclones in the 2019 USPHL NCDC Futures Draft. I played U16 AAA and U18 AAA my junior and senior seasons. During my U16 season I was selected as a USPHL U16 AAA All Star. My U18 season was the Covid season.
In the off-season I train with NCAA and juniors players under the coaching of Jordan French in my home in the Nashville area. I have also trained at Minnesota Advancement Program - MEGA Goaltending in Plymouth and Stauber’s Goal Crease in Edina, MN while I resided in Minnesota from 2016-2020.
I am currently 5’11”/170 lbs. In addition to hockey, I enjoy strength training. I also enjoy volunteering my time, having done so with feeding the homeless with the Knights of Columbus and Feed My Starving Children. I also enjoy coaching Mite, Squirt and Pee Wee age goalies.
