Jack Rogers '26 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to play college hockey.   I love the position of goaltender and earn my spot on the team every time I hit the ice.  I do not take my responsibilities as a goaltender lightly, and I am always looking for the next opportunity to improve and further my hockey career.  I excel in team environments and high-pressure situations and give 110% to my team.  Consistency and reliability are my best qualities,  I never quit!

Just as important, is my education.  I earned a spot in the National Jr. Honor Society, in my 7th-grade year in Middle School,  I have maintained that throughout the rest of my time in Middle School.  I just completed my Freshman year in high school with a 3.86 GPA and a 3.75 for my Junior Year.  I have spent my Freshman Year and Sophomore Year as the starter for the Varsity Hockey Team.  I know that my grades will open doors for me.

Being the son of an Active Duty military member, I adapt well to change and adversity and am driven to succeed in whatever life brings me.  I started my hockey journey in San Diego, CA playing for Poway Ice Predators.  When my father received orders to St. Louis MO, I continued with the Meramec Sharks, holding the position of goaltender on the club's  A1 teams in my major year of 12U, and both years of 14U.  I just completed my 2023-24 season with the U16 AA  Affton Americans, of the Central States Developmental Hockey League. I plan on trying out for a Junior's team, AAA Team,  and the CSDHL Affton team again for the 2024-25 season.   My future short-term goal is to progress as a Varsity Goalie on the Oakville High School Varsity team and lead whatever club team I make into a successful season, and go to Nationals.  

I want to attend any university that would help me build a career in digital art and further my aspirations as an artist.  I would also like to be a goaltender for that same university and continue playing Lacrosse, so I am definitely searching for the right school to help me meet those goals.  At the moment, I am very interested in attending Maryville University, Lindenwood University, or the University of Missouri,  but I am open to any school.
