Personal Statement
Hello college and junior league coaches, my name is Logan Plante and I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement. The first thing you will probably want to know about me is that I am currently a senior at Bedford High School in Bedford New Hampshire. I am looking to play any college hockey I can to keep the sport in my life. Hockey has been my passion ever since it was introduced to me at a young age. I have also enjoyed playing soccer up until my freshman year which I stopped to pursue playing hockey year-round. I play on a spring tournament team called The Granite State Select Moose, and we have several first and second place trophies with them. I am also involved in Boy Scouts and am an Eagle Scout of Troop 135. Boy Scouts has influenced so much of my life on and off the ice because they teach kindness and help us learn to work with others as a unit and it has made me a better friend, sportsman, and teammate. Within Boy Scouts and hockey I have been very successful. I have received many awards including The Scout Spirit Award and many klondike derby podium spots. I have even won my state championship with my out of school team, The Manchester Flames. I hope that in the future I can gain more success through varsity high school hockey and continuing in scouts. By doing this, I hope to build my character and in the future use that to influence my life, such as in a career field, preferably law enforcement or company managing of some sort. These are also a couple of things I may like to study while in college. Overall, however, I am looking for a school that fits my academics and athletic needs. I have always been a very good student so a school that not only has a team that I could play on, but a good academic board would be the best fit for me. I hope now that you have learned a little about me that you are considering contacting me about a playing opportunity.
