My name is Rowen Hughes. I’m a freshman at Spaulding High School in Rochester, New Hampshire. I have an interest in US and World History and pursuing hockey at the collegiate level. I’m committed to working hard in the classroom as well as being a member of a hockey team.
I’ve been playing hockey since first grade. When not completing schoolwork, I’m either on the ice, shooting pucks in the driveway, working out, or watching athletic training videos or game footage. During the off season I attend many camps to improve my skills and knowledge of the game. I also play spring and summer Lacrosse to maintain my endurance and athleticism.
Through sports I’ve learned sportsmanship, cooperation, collaboration and teamwork. I strive to show these skills both on and off the ice. These skills have helped me to not only become a better athlete, but also a leader on my team, in my school, and in my community..
I hope that you’ll consider me as a player for your team. I look forward to hearing from you and learning more about your hockey program.
