Personal Statement
My name is Alec Hill I live in West Orange New Jersey attend West Orange High School. In the 2011- 2012 season my sophomore year I led West Orange hockey in points with 44. My junior year with the graduation of 8 seniors from the previous year the team was left in an abysmal state with goalie with no prior experience and only two other players with any prior hockey experience. My previous coach Mark Janifer has moved me from an aggressive Right Wing/Center to Defense along with the only other experienced player with previous hockey experience. I play the entire game every game in this new position. Aside from West Orange Hockey which is not all too formidable i play for the New Jersey Youth Devils. As a Midget 16 I made the Midget 18A travel team and was named alternate captain. I train privately at a gym and at Cutting Edge academy to stay fit all year round. As a senior the high school team is still far from spectacular and the new Coach Eddie Scafidi has me play the same role I played for Coach Janifer. My Devils team finished in first and we have playoffs in February of 2014.
