My name is Patrick Morgan, a 2006 birth year ice hockey goalie from Syracuse, New York in the graduating class 2024.
My most important athletic accomplishment to date was winning the New York State Championship for the 2018-2019 season with the Syracuse Nationals AAA hockey team. I had the honor of being the starting goaltender for the championship game. I have been a part of this team for the last six seasons and our team has consistently been ranked in the top 10 in the United States for the last several years.
I am a student athlete looking for the opportunity to further my academic and athletic development in a top level institution. My academic goals are to study computer and electrical engineering because of the challenging nature of the fields and my interest in math and the sciences. This is much like I constantly challenge myself both on and off the ice to become a better goaltender and help lead my team. Currently, I have a 98 overall average while taking accelerated classes and playing hockey at this elite level.
It doesn't matter the size of the university I attend, provided I have the opportunity to receive a quality education while offering the chance to continue playing the sport I love at a high level.
