Personal Statement
Hello potential Coaches, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself, and some things I take pride in; along with some of my goals and aspirations. The main thing I take pride in is my work ethic, I work hard both on and off the ice. I’ll do whatever it takes to win, and I will do whatever I have to for my team to succeed. I always want to be the player my coach goes to when he needs something done. I am not a flashy player, but I will do the dirty work or anything my Coach needs from me. I compare myself to Brendan Gallagher from the Montreal Canadiens. I’m the player in front of the net, going into hard areas, forechecks, and wins puck battles in the corners. But that is not my only style of play, I also have the ability to shoot the puck hard, and create chances for my teammates. I always want to be the player thats also makes the players around me better. I understand the importance of being coachable, having a steady personality, and you will find I always bring my best to the game. I am currently the Assistant Captain on my team and am very proud of that. I take the weight room seriously. During the season I maintain a routine to improve my durability, and in the off season I do muscle training daily to build muscle and strength for the upcoming season. I am currently looking for my next opportunity to move on in my hockey career path. My current goal is to play at the Junior level with the hopes of moving up professionally. I am currently looking for an opportunity to move up and play at the Junior Level this upcoming season. My family is very supportive of my goals, relocating from New York to North Carolina last year to help further my hockey development. I feel I am now ready to move on to the next step in my development so I can reach my career goals.
