Personal Statement

Ever since I can recall, I have set goals for myself, and worked hard to achieve those goals. When I was young, I set the goal for myself to play D1 collegiate hockey and study to earn the D1 collegiate experience. I am relentless with my effort and I am intelligent with my training. I was selected for Paul Gaustad’s U18 AAA team as a 13 year old, and performed very well. With guidance from my goalie coachDerek Gustafson, I was able to improve from a first year u14 Bend OR house goalie, to one of the u18 AAA PJW goalies, and perform well for PJW u18 AAA. I have a great rapport with my teammates and am a natural leader. I have been a student ambassador for a number of years, as well as being a part of NJHS. I am excited for the opportunity to play collegiate hockey and look forward to helping your team!
