I have been playing hockey since I was five years old. Once I fell in love with the sport, I have worked as hard as I can to improve my game and be a difference maker. Each season I become more confident in my ability to be an effective college hockey player at the highest levels and I am willing to work to do what it takes to achieve my goal.
While I am extremely passionate about hockey, I know that that my future success in life lies with the commitment I make to being successful academically. Although my schedule right now is tough, travel hockey, High School hockey, studying for the SSATs and home schooling myself in Religion so I can make my confirmation this year, I never let my studies take a back seat. I have made high honor roll nine quarters in a row and currently maintain a 4.18 GPA.
I learn very quickly and am open to new ideas and concepts, which I believe makes me very coachable. I strive to be a leader, support my teammates and always want to be recognized for being one of the hardest working players.
Right now I am focused on getting into a really good prep school so that I can attend a college that will help me reach my full potential academically and athletically. For me at this stage of my development, I feel it’s important to be open to all options; however, ultimately I want to compete at the highest level possible.
Only being in 8th grade and not fully grown physically yet, I know it’s hard to focus on me, but if you give me just a little bit of your attention by watching my highlight reel, you will see that I have the competitive drive and the hockey IQ to succeed. Don’t worry, I just starting to grow now... LOL!
