My father introduced me to hockey when I was three and I immediately fell in love with the game. Today, I am still passionate about being on the ice with my teammates and playing the game I love. I play with a chip on my shoulder to prove to my coaches that although I come from an untraditional hockey market, I am serious about taking my hockey career as far as possible. I also work hard to apply the lessons and tactics taught by my coaches. My father works in the Special Operations community and has been deployed overseas many times throughout my life. Because of this, I am self-motivated and self-sufficient. I take my health very seriously; I diligently work out and ensure I can give 100% at everything I do.
I understand the importance of education. I am an honor roll student, a member of the National Junior Honors Society, and I regularly complete volunteer hours within my community. I am also passionate about golf. I have taken golf lessons for the past couple years and compete in local tournaments. My other hobbies include practicing jiujitsu, kickboxing, soccer, distance running, and mountain biking. I think being outdoors is relaxing no matter what activity I am doing. I am a very active person that loves being outdoors and working out. Running is one of my favorite exercises because I can work on my lower body strength as well as my core strength and controlled breathing.
Thank you for taking the time to read through this and getting to know me. I look forward to speaking with you so I can learn more about you and your team.
