Personal Statement
Ever since I started playing hockey I instantly fell in love with the game. Everyday since I was 5 years old I would stickhandle and shoot pucks and even jog around the block a couple of times. I have always put 200% into playing hockey, no matter what it is if it is either a game, practice, a camp, or even a casual pick up game, because I want to get better and better
My personal opinion is that I have a great work ethic. Before game warmups I do more workouts then needed to be able to perform at my peak. At a practice or camp (if able) I go on the ice early and start skating laps, when I am done I start stick handling and Maneuver around the lines and the circles, and if the nets are on the ice I shoot around and I aim for the bars on the net and focus on shooting the puck hard. Every day after school I go to the weight room, And I do at least 1 extra workout then needed.
School and hockey are my main priorities, and are the things I put most of my time into, other than chores etc... I do my very best to get good grades in school, In school I ask a lot of questions to make sure what I am doing is right or wrong or to make sure what I am doing is correct. I do my best to pay attention in class and get my work done.
Some of the accomplishments that I have achieved Are winning two championships; Getting Five runner ups including a state champion runner up ; scoring 39 goals and assisting 45 goals. And also In a tournaments I had 15 assists and 0 goals and I led this tournament in points.
I think that I would be a valuable player because I am a team leader, I have courage and optimism toward winning a game. I ask lots of questions to make sure what do to on the ice, either during a game or practice , so I can play my very best and to win. If a teammate is bummed of a bad play they made I encourage them to to better. When I am on a team I feel it is really important to make sure we can play as a team and work as a team to win, and to especially get along with one another. I feel that I have great potential when it comes to skill and mental aspects and being a team leader.
My final goal is to make it to the NHL. My current goal is to make a collegiate level hockey team. Even though My final goal and my dream is a long shot , I still want work at my very best to achieve this goal and dream.
