Personal Statement
I really started to grow passionate about the sports I was involved in when I got to high school. It especially took off when I attended the national 15 festival and the national 16 festival. With that passion, I grew to be pretty good at the game. That’s when I started to fall in love with the game, I couldn’t get enough of it. A few things that I’ve learned about myself while playing the game is that I above most, have control over myself in heated situations, another thing I figured out about myself is that my life is more enjoyable when I’m playing hockey with and around the guys everyday. A few goals I have school-wise is to graduate from high school with a 4.0 GPA and to get a 4-year degree in college. The biggest obstacle that I ever had to jump over is when I was a first year peewee, I made the worst team possible in my association, this pushed me to get better as a person and a player and when next year’s tryouts rolled around I made the first cut for the top Peewee team. One unique characteristic I possess is that I have persistence, I won’t stop until I achieve what I’m after.
