Lane Bell '19 Recruiting Profile

    I am very impressed with the NCSA organization, I am also excited to find a useful tool to help my future in education and athletics! I am a hard working honest guy that puts in 110% at anything I am involved in. If its my class work or playing hockey, football, baseball, golf, track, or on the other end of the spectrum showing livestock from our family farm. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, going to fairs and showing livestock, deer hunting, ice fishing, FFA, 4H, and am always on board to try something new. I am currently the President of the 4H club I belong to and have rotated officer positions for 5 years serving as Vice President and President. In 2015-16 hockey season I was the Captain of my Bantam team. My favorite time of the year is the fall because of the trees and hockey starts a new season.

    I am a very competitive person who tries my hardest to win and have been playing hockey since I was 4. I also know how important it is in any team sport that team work is key to how successful a season will be and feel it is one of the most important parts of hockey. I really like to get my stats up there and put some points on the scoreboard but am willing to sacrifice my points if my teammate has a better opportunity than me to score a goal as I know it helps us as a team to win. I can get along with anyone and if you need me to step up my game and fill in a position I will not turn it down. I really care if the team wins or loses. If I win I will celebrate and if I lose I don't let it hold me back and get me down, I just try not to make the same mistakes again, and look to the next game.

    My goal is to find a a place where I can strive to be the best I can be. I want a good education and really hope to continue playing hockey since I am kind of passionate about it. I currently have not decided what field of study to pursue but have interests in Sports Management, Sports Therapy, Sports Medicine,  Animal Sciences, Agriculture, Ag Business and am open to anything that I can enjoy. I take my school classes seriously and really work and making sure I complete all assignments and make all my deadlines. I put a lot of effort into studying for tests and hope my hard work pays off.
