Winning silver in the AAA OMHA Championships as a rookie was the highlight of my minor hockey career. However, I feel that I grew as a player and a person after being cut from that very same team all 3 seasons prior. The experience helped me set my goals and work to be the best player I could be.
Last season, I was very fortunate to be a part of a great program, winning the Wendy Dufton Memorial tournament in London, winning silver in the OMHA Championships, and coming out of our pool undefeated in the OHL Cup. I learned the value of commitment, sacrifice, and hard work the years leading up to last season. I believe I will have the talent to compete for a college team, and the leadership and character to make an impact on your program.
