My goals are to make it to the OHL and if that doesn't work out then I want to play hockey in college and see what happens next. What I think makes me a good candidate is I work really hard at everything I do, I try in every practice and I play hard every game. On my own time I volunteer to help little kids learn to skate. I helped build an outdoor rink in the winter time. I pay for extra ice time when I can. Every Tuesday and Thursday I do a workout and skate for 2 hours at The World Elite Training Center with the OHL and AAA hockey players. At school I was the only grade 9 to make the hockey team, after school I go and workout at the gym whenever I can. What makes me different from other recruits is that I put the work in every day, I train every day and I don't wish for my dreams to come true I make them happen by working hard and doing my best at every skate. I've have also held a part time job at the local No Frills grocery store for a year and 4 months working 20 or more hours a week which is how I pay for my extra ice times.
