I am seriously pursuing the NCAA route despite being drafted by the Niagara Ice Dogs in the 2020 OHL Priority Draft as I feel that it can better help me reach my long term hockey development goals and education interests. On October 19, 2021, I was listed by NHL Central Scouting as a player to watch for the 2022 NHL Draft. I am a strong skating, physical, smart, stay at home defenseman with the ability to see the entire ice, create plays and scoring opportunities and contribute offensively when in the offensive zone. My coaches will tell you I am very coachable; I have a very strong work ethic and teamwork mentality and I am well respected among my teammates and coaches because I treat everyone with fairness and respect. I also bring strong leadership skills that I can use both on and off the ice that would allow me to contribute to any hockey program and school in a positive way.
