I am a good student having averaged an A- my freshman/sophomore years and averaging a B+ junior and senior year. In addition to playing high school hockey, I also played on the baseball and lacrosse teams. Summers in between school, I volunteered at Ride for Dad Watercraft and at a lake summer camp in addition to playing on Spring hockey teams and attending hockey camps.
I was named assistant captain high school hockey team junior year at Ecole Secondaire Franco Cite winning the 2022 Franco Provincial Tournament in the highest division bracket. Named team captain this year to help defend our school’s title at the 2023 Franco tournament in Hamilton, Ontario this Spring.
Played last season with Navan Grads U18 AAA accumulating 21 points and contributing to the team’s overall success finishing 2nd place in 2021-2022 HEO league. I was invited to attend the Ottawa 67s 2022 Spring Draft Camp as a free agent.
Currently part of the CCHL Navan Grads program listed in their 30 man protected roster, while playing 2022-23 season with Junior B Ottawa Canadians in the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL).
Selected for the Top Prospects Game and named in the All-Rookie Team Selection for the Martin Division EOJHL.
This season also brought me the privilege of being casually employed to help out on ice at private goalie training sessions being referred through Amped Sports Lab. This connection also brought me opportunity to appear in a promotional ad for True Temper Sports.
Coaches have identified my strengths as having excellent vision, precision passing and impressive skating capabilities while needing to improve on quick feet. I am told that I possess all the qualities to take it next level.
I recognize the need for further development and growth by playing in a Junior hockey program that can help me progress and mature. I am committed to working hard this spring/summer, on and off the ice through various conditioning and strength training sessions and will be attending some camps in hopes of gaining more insight, exposure and opportunities to help attain my goal of playing college hockey.
