Winning the OHF (Ontario Hockey Federation Championship) in 2018 for the U20 team was the highlight of my high school career. However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete during my first year playing Junior Tier 3 Hockey with an inaugural team and making it to the Boston National Finals. That experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my own efforts on becoming a solid defenceman capable of playing at the college level.
I was also fortunate enough to be part of an amazing program, participating in the Silver Stick Regional Provincial Tournament. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership the year without a trophy. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a three-sport athlete and four-time assistant captain, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
