Here are some statements that define me as a hockey player, usually stated by my coaches:
Hockey IQ: Coaches say I have an excellent hockey IQ. I'm able to read my opponents' movements and find open spaces to make precise passes to my teammates.
Solid defensively: Defensively, I'm a reliable and solid player. I know how to use my body to block enemy shots. I consider myself a complete defenseman who contributes in all facets of the game and can make a big difference on the ice.
Physical strength: With my physical strength, I'm a difficult player to face along the boards. I'm capable of absorbing checks from my opponents to ensure we exit the zone.
Good shot: Coaches say I have a good shot, and that I'm able to surprise opposing goalkeepers with powerful strikes in attack.
Good first pass: Coaches consider I'm a good passer, capable of finding openings and distributing precise first passes to create quality opportunities for my teammates.
Backward skating: Coaches say my quick backward skating makes me a very difficult defenseman for opponents to overtake. I'm able to keep up with the fastest players, leading them to the peripheral areas.
