Personal Statement

I have a couple goals for myself since the step to collegiate athletics is near: I would like to continue playing competitive hockey and keep having as much fun as I've always had playing this great sport. I believe that I am a great candidate for any team because I like to push myself to meet the standards of whomever coaches me and I always want to get better. The pieces that define myself from your average applicant is that I have been doing many activities at the same time for a very long time so juggling college and sports can be done much easier. Second, I've managed to maintain my grades while still playing hockey, running cross country, and playing in numerous band ensembles/groups for all of my high school years. Lastly I would like to say that I can be flexible, but also very regimented regarding all aspects of my life surrounding hockey and school because both are important.
