I first started playing hockey around 4 years old. As a young developing player, I always gravitated towards protecting the net. After playing my first game as a goalie, I knew the position would forever be part of my life.
Academically, my goal is to find a college where I can pursue a major that will position me well for medical school, as well as allow me to grow athletically. I work hard to maintain honor level grades while maintaining a busy travel schedule athletically.
Athletically, my goal is to play at the highest level possible. As I have grown and developed as a youth, I have always played the highest tier of hockey. Other sports have also helped me develop athletically including soccer, snow boarding and taekwondo. A recent highlight of my career was leading my high school team to an undefeated championship season and being named first team all division goalie.
I believe my athleticism, puck tracking and perseverance provide me the talent and skills to compete at the college level. I pride myself on my strong character and work-ethic as well as supporting my team and teammates no matter the situation. These characteristics will allow me to be successful both academically and athletic in your program.
