Personal Statement
Ever since I started the amazing game of ice hockey, I have always dreamed of one day becoming a college athlete. I work my hardest every day to become the best possible player I can. I cooperate with my coaches and teammates, playing an essential role in the defensive line up to help our team win. I am motivated every single day to reach my full potential as a player, while also cooperating and focusing on schoolwork.
It all started at a free skate when I saw a group of hockey players skating around, I simply thought to myself, I want to be like them. So, I signed up for a free hockey clinic. Clinic after clinic I worked on specific skills that helped me develop into a solid defenseman. As I grew and developed I experienced some significant moments, like winning Lake Placid in double overtime or just recently winning the Dave Kapral tournament last year. These events helped me realize how significant winning is and for these reasons I drive myself to become the best I can be.
