Lleyton Kleffman '25 Recruiting Profile

 Hello recruiting coaches, my name is Lleyton Kleffman and I am a 25’ 5’8 right/left wing. I’ve been playing hockey since the age of 4 when my dad showed it to me for the first time. 

            Every time I get on the ice, I push myself with the focus of improving. I set short term and long term goals with the intention of achieving them. My collegiate goals are to work hard and to play at the highest-level of hockey. I love being challenged and getting pushed past my limits.  This gives me the opportunity to push myself and fellow teammates to do our best.  I look forward to playing fast paced high level hockey in college/juniors.  

           I have around a 2.5 GPA however, I want to push it way higher than it already is. Hockey is my priority, but I still view academics important for success in my future. While writing this, I want go to into college for a business degree. 

          Other than hockey I play no other sports. I am a very competitive player and would like to get better. I am very coachable and want to learn from my mistakes when they happen. I look to make good plays and help my team out whenever I can. I am a pretty physical player and will into the boards for a battle. I try to make every shift count and make a better play each time I get on the ice. I enjoy playing wing on either side but would be willing to move to play center. 

          I would like to say I’m very excited for my further with hockey and school. I am working hard to achieve my future dreams. If I’m given the opportunity to play for your team I will work even harder and do my best to succeed and have a good year and an achieve my goals.
