Personal Statement
My name is Aiden, or Aj Molloy. Currently, I am a proud player for the Puerto Rican ice hockey association, as well as Preds Select 18u a1 team and the Tennessee Outlaws varsity team. I am an student at Ironwood Academy with a 3.8 GPA. In my free time, I coach grassroots 6u, 8u, and 12u hockey at my local rink. My goal is to play hockey at the highest level I can, then return home to continue to grow the game I love in the place that I love. I've played hockey since i was around 6 years old and ever since it's been my passion. I started travel at 13 years old, not producing much, but that year taught me a lot about the game. Through my time in travel I’ve been to around 20 championship games. I’ve only won 3. I have learned to take the losses as motivation and I try my best to follow my first travel coaches motto by hating to lose more than I love to win. That along with my Puerto Rican heritage have shaped me into the player and person I am. Puerto Ricans love and protect their own no matter what and never back down. My Puerto Rican family members are some of the most determined people I know and I try my best to take inspiration from them. I appreciate you taking the time to look over my profile, and hope to have the opportunity to chat more with you and possibly play for your team in the future.
